There is ontologically no difference between GOD THE FATHER and GOD THE SON.

In fact, Phillip, one of JESUS’ disciples asked HIM to show us THE FATHER. JESUS responded, “Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known ME Philip? He that hath seen ME hath seen THE FATHER; and how sayeth thou then, show us THE FATHER?” Jn.14:9

JESUS is the exact representation of THE FATHER. “WHO being the brightness of HIS Glory, and the express image of HIS PERSON, and upholding all things by The Word of HIS Power, when HE had by HIMSELF purged our sins, sat down on the right Hand of The Majesty on high;” Heb.1:3

Although JESUS is the express image of THE FATHER, JESUS and THE FATHER are NOT the same PERSON. In fact, the Scriptures declare and teach GOD is ONE in essence and THREE in PERSON. There is no explanation to define the GODHEAD neither does Scripture attempt to explain the GODHEAD, it simply declares it.

There is actually no modalistic answer to the question, why does GOD have a SON? GOD made man in HIS image. “And GOD said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness:” Gen.1:26a As man is made in the image of GOD and GOD commanded man to reproduce, “be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” Gen.1:28 GOD desired to likewise reproduce, however GOD’s reproduction of “HIS only begotten SON” is from everlasting. As THE FATHER is from everlasting, even so THE SON is from everlasting. “Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art GOD.” Ps. 90:2

Furthermore, in reference to the everlasting nature of The SON of GOD, “who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in HIS fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is HIS NAME, and what is HIS SON’s NAME, if thou canst tell?” Prov.30:4

The Bible is 100% accurate in its historical and prophetic narratives. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of GOD, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” 2Tim.3:16 The Scriptures however is NOT 100% thorough, meaning all historical accounts are not recorded in The Bible. “And there are also many other things JESUS did, the which, if they should be written everyone, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written.” Jn.21:25

The Scriptures mentions various categories of sin: “All unrighteousness is sin and there is a sin not onto death.”1Jn.5:17 Although the Scriptures do not specifically mention the sins of pornography and masturbation, the Scriptures do mention sexual sins which categorically these sins would fall under along with fornication: “Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that commiteth fornication sinneth against his own body.”1Cor.6:18 As such sexual sins are categorized as a man sinning against his own body of which The Bible does mention these sexual sins: “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of GOD? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit The Kingdom of GOD.” 1Cor.6:9-10 I submit that modern day sexual sins such as pornography and masturbation fall under the category of “abusers of themselves with mankind.”
